Your information
Privacy policy
Neatmend is a brand of Barnett Software, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. We use information to check your domain, deliver the service, and answer your questions. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Free checker: the domain you enter and the public SPF, DMARC, and MX records returned. No contact email is required.
- Paid service and support: your domain, contact email, sender inventory, configuration details, relevant test-message headers, and messages you send us. Please do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive information.
- Payment: Stripe handles checkout and payment details. We receive purchase information and a payment reference to fulfill orders and process refunds. We do not collect or store your full card number on this site.
- Technical information: Cloudflare processes request information, including IP addresses, to host and protect the site. The checker temporarily holds an IP-based request counter in Worker memory for rate limiting, with a one-hour window. It does not create a persistent IP log in the application.
How the free checker works
We send your domain and the related DNS query names to Cloudflare's public DNS-over-HTTPS resolver. The application returns the result to your browser without storing a checker history. Cloudflare may process infrastructure and security logs under its own policies. Checked domains appear in request URLs and may appear in infrastructure logs or your browser's developer tools. The site uses no analytics trackers, advertising pixels, or external fonts.
DMARC aggregate reports
When you enable aggregate reporting, participating receiving mail systems send summaries to the reporting destination specified in your DMARC record. We process those reports to identify sending services, review authentication and alignment results, and prepare your 30-day report and recommendation.
Aggregate reports typically include sending IP addresses, domains, message counts, and authentication results. They are not intended to contain message bodies or full email content, but can still reveal information about your email infrastructure. Our setup uses aggregate reporting; we do not request forensic or message-level failure reports as part of this service.
Who processes information
Neatmend uses automated tools, including AI services, to process service information and email to prepare guidance and respond to you. The business owner may access that information to operate and support the business. We use service providers as needed for hosting and DNS (Cloudflare), payments (Stripe), email, AI processing, and aggregate-report processing. Information is shared with them only as needed to deliver and operate the service, or where required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep service records and report data as needed to complete the setup, provide the 30-day report, handle support, and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not keep them indefinitely for an unrelated purpose. The temporary rate-limit counter expires after its one-hour window or when the Worker instance is recycled.
To request access to or deletion of your service information and reports, email hello@neatmend.com from your contact address and identify your domain. We may ask you to verify your authority. We will delete information we no longer need, except records we must retain for legal, tax, security, or payment-dispute obligations. Ask us to help remove the reporting destination from your DMARC record if you want future reports to stop.
