Terms of service

Neatmend is a brand of Barnett Software, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. These terms apply when you buy our $149 email authentication setup.

1. What the service includes

For one business domain using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, we provide configuration guidance and verification for SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. We build a sender inventory with your input, prepare SPF and DMARC records, and provide steps to enable DKIM in your email platform's admin.

We start DMARC at monitoring level (p=none) with aggregate reporting, review the reports received over 30 days after verification, and send a summary with a recommendation about moving to enforcement. Enforcement changes are not automatic. Reports depend on participating receiving mail systems, and we cannot guarantee their completeness.

You or your IT person apply the changes. If separately agreed, you may grant limited, revocable access so we can help. We never ask for your passwords. The fee is $149 USD, paid once through Stripe. Domain registration, email subscriptions, third-party fees, incident response, and ongoing administration are outside this service.

2. Your responsibilities

You must own the domain or have authority to approve changes to it.
Provide accurate information about every service that sends using your domain, including invoicing, marketing, forms, and other tools.
Have access to your DNS and email admin, or an authorized IT person who does. Back up existing settings, follow the steps, and tell us when changes are applied.
Help us verify the setup with an agreed test message. Tell us about errors, changes, or newly added sending services.
Do not email us passwords or unrelated confidential information. Revoke any temporary access when the work is complete.

The estimate of about 15 minutes refers to applying a typical set of changes. Account access, complex configurations, and DNS propagation can take longer.

3. Money-back guarantee

If your domain doesn't pass SPF and DMARC checks within 14 days of applying our records, we will refund the $149 fee. Tell us when the records are applied so we can verify them and help fix issues during that period.

For this guarantee, passing means a single usable SPF record for the identified senders, a valid DMARC monitoring or enforcement record, and an agreed test message from your primary Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account that passes SPF and DMARC alignment checks. A free DNS checker result alone is not proof of a pass.

To request the refund, email hello@neatmend.com with your domain, payment reference, and when you applied the records. We return the full fee to the original payment method; payment-provider processing time may vary. The guarantee covers these authentication checks, not inbox placement or the prevention of every fraudulent message.

4. Limits of email authentication

SPF, DKIM, and DMARC support authentication but do not guarantee delivery, prevent every impersonation attempt, or secure a compromised mailbox. Monitoring mode does not request rejection or quarantine. Receiving mail systems make their own delivery decisions. Changes you or a third party make later may affect the results.

6. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, our total liability arising from this service is limited to the fee you paid us for it. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, special, or incidental damages, including lost profits, lost business, or lost data. These limits do not restrict rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.

7. Arizona law

Arizona law governs these terms, except where mandatory applicable law provides otherwise. If one provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
